Steinle Law to Sponsor MLCS Spring Drama Production

The show will premiere on May 6, tickets on sale April 12.


[MOUNTAIN LAKE, MN, March, 29] Today, the Mountain Lake Christian School Drama Department

announced Steinle Law of St. James as the corporate sponsor for their 2021 Spring Drama Production. Two weeks ago, the MLCS Drama Department announced their Spring Drama production of Little Women, which will premiere on May 6 with performances scheduled for May 6 at 6:30 pm, May 7 at 3:30 pm, and 6:30 pm, and May 8 at 3:30 pm. It is made possible through a special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.


Additionally, the MLCS Drama Department has announced the cast and crew for the production. The show will feature Meghan Johnson as Jo March, Lydia Cavanaugh as Meg March, Abi Renteria-Rojas as Beth March, Makayla Belgarde as Amy March, Jordan Linscheid as Theodore “Laurie” Lawrence, Kate Janzen as Marmee, Zach Klassen as Old Mr Lawrence, Evan Oltmans as John Brooke, Elizabeth Linscheid as Aunt March, Luke Klassen as Professor Baher, Tyler Dick as Father, and Dannika Sajban as Hannah. The show is directed by Aaron Petersen and produced by Eli Johnson, with Costume Design by Lydia Cavanuagh, Sound Design by Jack Lepp, Luke Klassen is Stage Manager and Abi Renteria-Rojas is Wardrobe Manager.

The Mountain Lake Christian School Drama Department anticipates providing in-person

performances even as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations begin to rise in the State of Minnesota. The MLCS Drama Department will be doing everything necessary to guarantee a safe and exciting event. The event will comply with all COVID-19 Precautions set in place by the State of Minnesota at the time of the performances.

[MOUNTAIN LAKE, MN, March, 12] Today, the Mountain Lake Christian School Drama Department announced their 2021 Spring Drama Production. Little Women will premiere on May 6 with performances scheduled for May 6 at 6:30 pm, May 7 at 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm, and May 8 at 3:30 pm. The show will feature Meghan Johnson, Lydia Cavanaugh, Abi Renteria-Rojas, Makayla Belgarde, and Jordan Linscheid along with a featured supporting cast. Directed by Aaron Petersen and produced by Eli Johnson, the show is set to be a wonderful event for all ages. Little Women is adapted by Marisha Chamberlin and based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel. It is made possible through a special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.


Under the guidance of their beloved mother, the four young March sisters -- tempestuous Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and spoiled baby Amy -- struggle to keep their family going while Father’s away in the Civil War. In this beautifully dramatized adaptation of the classic novel, even as privation, illness, and sibling rivalry cast their shadows, each girl strives to find her purpose.
